Quinnipiac Students Arrested After Large Amount of Marijuana Found in Dorm Room: Hamden Police
The students are accused of possession with the intent to sell, according to Hamden Police.
HAMDEN, CT — Three Quinnipiac University students were arrested on drug charges after they were found to have a large amount of marijuana in their dorm room, according to police.
Hamden Police responded to Quinnipiac on Nov. 4 on the report of a drug complaint, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Lt. Robert D’Aniello had learned that members of Quinnipiac University Public Safety conducted an investigation and located a large quantity of marijuana in a dorm room.

Hamden Police continued the investigation and located more than 300 grams of marijuana, $810 and drug paraphernalia in a room occupied by students Andrew Stein, Thomas Famulary and Samuel Belanger, according to Smith.
Smith said they were immediately placed under arrest and transported to Hamden Police Headquarters.

Stein, 19, of Medford, New Jersey, Famulary, 19, of Rumson, New Jersey, and Belanger, 20, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, were all charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were each detained on a $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 17.
