Reminder: Labor Day to Delay Garbage Collection Schedule in Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — The town of Hamden is reminding residents that the refuse and recycling schedule will be delayed by one day, beginning Monday, Sept. 5, due to the Labor Day holiday.

As a result, those addresses scheduled for pickup on Sept. 5 will have their refuse and recycling picked up on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and so forth throughout the remainder of the week.

Be sure to put your refuse out before 6 a.m. to ensure that it is collected.
