Second Crime Prevention And Community Resolutions Panel Discussion In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (Press release from the Town of Hamden): Mayor Curt Balzano Leng and Police Chief Sullivan have announced the continuation of the Crime Prevention and Community Resolutions Panel Discussion which occurred earlier this month, with the second discussion being held this Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 at 7:00pm on ZOOM. All members of the public are invited to attend the meeting. The meeting capacity for this event has been expanded to a maximum of 500 attendees. Connection details are posted below.
The purpose of the discussion series is to update residents on efforts being taken to address increases in crime and to facilitate healthy discussions and resolutions regarding crime prevention and public safety within the Town of Hamden. Residents are encouraged to attend the virtual event. The program is a continuation of the discussion that was held previously, with this session featuring additional announcements regarding how the Town is working to combat and prevent crime in Hamden. Additionally, the program will feature discussion from a panel of key public safety and community stakeholders, time to answer questions brought forward by the community in advance and an open, Town Hall style Q & A period to allow all residents to participate and offer their thoughts, ideas or questions.
