Serial Shoplifting Suspects Sought: Hamden Police

Police are asking for help with identifying 2 suspects accused of stealing items from Home Depot stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are asking for help with identifying two suspects who are accused of stealing items from Home Depot stores throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Police responded to The Home Depot, located at 1873 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, on Jan. 27 on the report of a larceny, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that two individuals exited the store with a stolen “tool kit.” The suspects subsequently entered a blue Honda Civic and fled northbound on Dixwell Avenue. According to The Home Depot Loss Prevention Division they are responsible for numerous larcenies at their stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts, Smith said.
