Shooting Investigated In Hamden: Police
A BMW was struck with multiple bullets in what appeared to be a targeted shooting, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning in Hamden.
Police responded to the area of Woodin Street near Rochford Avenue around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 22 on reports of shots fired, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Officers found a white BMW that crashed nearby and was unoccupied, according to Dolan.

Dolan said the vehicle was struck multiple times with bullets and the occupants left the scene. No shooting victims were reported to police and the vehicle appears to have been specifically targeted, Dolan said.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation into the shooting. Detectives recovered ballistic evidence at the scene, according to Dolan.
