Shots Fired Into Home In Hamden: Police
Police said the house may have been specifically targeted in the shooting.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after shots were fired into a home in Hamden on Saturday night, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Dunn Road around 11:30 p.m. on the report of shots fired, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Officers found that a single-family house on Dunn Road was struck by the gunfire. The home was occupied at the time of the shooting, and at least one of the shots went into the home, Dolan said.

No injuries were reported, according to Dolan.
Dolan said ballistic evidence was recovered at the crime scene and a small sedan was seen leaving the area.

Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit and Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
Dolan said a preliminary investigation found that the house may have been specifically targeted.
