Shots Fired Investigated In Hamden: Police
The shots were fired late Sunday night, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a report of shots fired after a fight in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Cumley Street late Sunday night in Hamden. At about 11:55 p.m. on May 5, police responded to Studio 1537, located at 1537 Dixwell Avenue, on the report of shots fired, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said Studio 1537 security staff stated that they “heard a fight” in the area and then heard several gunshots in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Cumley Street.
“Hamden Police searched the area and located several pieces of evidence,” Smith said in a news release. “There were no reported victims.”
