Shots Fired At Vehicle In Hamden: Police

A passenger in a car was seen firing several gunshots at another vehicle on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after a passenger in a car fired multiple gunshots at another vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. Police responded to the intersection Brook Street and Wintergreen Avenue on the report of shots fired at about 12:45 p.m. on April 19, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that two motor vehicles were traveling northbound on Brook Street. A passenger, who was seated in a dark-colored Volkswagon was observed firing multiple gunshots at the preceding vehicle, according to Smith.
