UPDATE: Silver Alert Issued for 13-Year-Old Missing from Hamden (Resolved)

The teen is an endangered runaway, according to police.

UPDATE: Police have canceled the Silver Alert, saying the case has been resolved. No further information was provided.

HAMDEN, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Taquasia Yancey, 13, who was reported missing from Hamden on Oct. 6.

Yancey is an endangered runaway, according to police.

Yancey is described as a black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark blue or black jeans and Timberland boots.

A photo wasn’t provided.
