Silver Alerts Issued for Missing Hamden Teens

HAMDEN, CT — Silver Alerts have been issued for two teens who were reported missing from Hamden on Thursday, Feb. 23.

Brian Omar, 15, is described by police as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark gray-hooded sweatshirt, ripped black jeans and white sneakers with purple blue designs.

Dyshawn Smith, 16, is described by police as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 141 pounds.

He was last seen wearing black clothing.

Photos of the missing teens were not provided and it wasn’t immediately clear if they were expected to be together.
