Sledder Rescued After Accident In Hamden: Fire Officials
Crews carried the patient more than 500 feet through the snow after a sledding accident, according to officials.
HAMDEN, CT — Firefighters responded to a sledding accident Thursday in Hamden, according to officials.
Companies were clearing the scene around 5 p.m.
Officials said the sledding accident “required a technical rescue carrying the patient over 500 feet through the snow.”

The fire department “reminds all sledders to check for access permission and obstacles that could cause injury on the ride,” according to a post on Twitter.
