Slight Majority Disapprove NFL Knee Protests: QU Poll
A QU poll found a slight majority disapprove of kneeling during the National Anthem by NFL players, but demographic feelings were varied.

HAMDEN, CT — A slight majority of voters disapprove of NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem, according to the latest Quinnipiac University Poll. Voters said 58 to 34 percent they don't approve of the action.
There were wide gaps between demographics. Voters between the ages of 18 and 34-years-old approve of the kneeling 66 to 27 percent while voters over 65 disapprove 62 to 34 percent. Black voters approve 79 to 18 percent while white voters disapprove 60 to 37 percent and Hispanics are divided at 46 to 45 percent.
American voters said 58 to 34 percent that President Donald Trump's comments on NFL protests were not appropriate.

A majority of voters (55 to 43 percent) said Trump isn't fit to be president, but approve 49 to 46 percent how he is handling the economy. A total of 61 percent of voters said the nation's economy is excellent or good, which is near an all-time high.
Only 27 percent said they were very satisfied or somewhat satisfied with the way things are going in the nation today while 72 percent are somewhat dissatisfied or very dissatisfied.

Disapproval of Trump's Twitter use hit an all-time high with 70 percent of those polled saying the president should stop tweeting from his personal account.
