HAMDEN, CT — An 18-year-old Prospect resident was arrested after police say he threatened a woman with a BB gun while she was sitting inside her motor home at a parking lot in Hamden. The incident occurred at about 11 p.m. on July 27 at the parking lot at 2300 Dixwell Avenue.

A 35-year-old Georgia resident was sitting inside of her motor home bus when she was approached by a white man that was wielding a handgun, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. The victim told police that the man, who was later identified as Aleksandro Radman, approached the motor home, reached into his waistband and pointed a firearm through a window, Smith said.

There were several occupants inside of the motor home that “ran to the back” and took cover, according to Smith. Police located Radman shortly thereafter and arrested him. Police found a BB gun inside of his parked motor vehicle, Smith said.
