Teens Arrested After Attempted Carjacking: Hamden PD
The two had also burglarized a residence, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — Two juvenile girls were arrested after they attempted a carjacking and burglarized a residence April 11, according to police.
A Blue Hills Avenue resident reported that she parked her vehicle in her driveway and was approached by the two girls who tried to forcibly enter her vehicle while she was seated inside, said Capt. Ronald Smith, police spokesman.
The girls fled on foot as the woman called police. Officers learned that the suspects burglarized a Battis Road residence after a homeowner reported seeing them in her kitchen. They fled from that scene as well.
