HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents that trash and recycling pickup for the week of July 3 will be delayed. Collection on July 2 and 3 will proceed as normal, and collection starting July 4 will be delayed one day due to the Independence Day Holiday.
This means that the pick-up normally scheduled for Wednesday, July 4, will occur on Thursday, July 5 and so forth, culminating in Friday's pickup taking place on Saturday. Residents are reminded to have all trash and recycling at the curb prior to 6 a.m. on the day of your pickup. Call the Mayor’s Office at (203) 287 - 7100 with any questions or concerns.
