Vehicle Stolen in Trumbull, Crashes in Hamden: PD
One vehicle was stolen and others were burglarized in Trumbull, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after a vehicle was stolen from Trumbull and several vehicles were burglarized in the early morning hours Feb. 4 in the area of Old Hollow Road.
The suspect(s) gained entry into unlocked cars and stole items including credit cards, cash and other personal things, said Lt. Keith Golding, Trumbull Police spokesman.
The stolen vehicle had the keys inside and was taken from the victim's driveway. Another vehicle stolen from New Haven was left in its place.

Later on the stolen Trumbull vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Hamden and the suspects fled on foot.
