Vehicles Damaged By Gunfire In Hamden: Police

Police are investigating reports of shot fired early Sunday morning in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating reports of shots fired that damaged two vehicles early Sunday morning in Hamden. At about 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 26, Hamden Police responded to the area of Arch Street and Warner Street on the report of “shots fired,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Witnesses told police that numerous gunshots were fired in the area. Smith said officers learned that occupants inside of two motor vehicles were firing at each other. Investigation revealed that two parked vehicles on Warner Street were damaged by bullets, according to Smith.
