Vehicles Spray-Painted With ‘Vulgar And Obscene’ Images Overnight: Hamden Police
Police are investigating over several vehicles were damaged during the overnight hours.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are investigating after five motor vehicles were damaged with spray-painted “vulgar and obscene” writings and images during the overnight hours on Monday, according to police.
Police responded to three locations in town regarding the criminal mischief incidents, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. (To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Smith said officers responded to residences on East Gate Lane, Paradise Avenue and Skiff Street. The victims told police that their vehicles were damaged during the overnight hours.

Smith said investigation revealed that the vehicles, which were parked in private driveways and parking lots, had been “spray-painted.” The writing and images painted on each vehicle were vulgar and obscene, Smith said.
Members of the Hamden Police Department Patrol Division are conducting the investigation.
