Wanted Hamden Man Arrested At Milford Business: PD
The accused was originally held in lieu of bond, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Hamden man, who was wanted on three separate warrants, was arrested at a Milford business last week, Milford police said.
On April 3, police responded to Advanced Auto Parts, 1422 Boston Post Road, on a report of a possible shoplifting incident, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of William Meinhold, 26, of Helen Street in Hamden, who had three active warrants for his arrest, police said.
He is accused of failing to appear in court on March 15 and March 27 stemming from arrests in Hamden and East Haven on charges of larceny and breach of peace on Jan. 12, Feb. 13, and Feb. 28, police said.

He is also accused of being in possession of narcotics during the incident at Advanced Auto Parts in which no stolen items were found in Meinhold's possession, police said.
He is charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
