Woman Assaulted Neighbor With Bottle Of Steak Sauce: Hamden PD
Police say the victim was bleeding profusely after being struck in the head with a bottle of steak sauce by her neighbor during an argument.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden woman is accused of assaulting her neighbor with a bottle of steak sauce during an argument early Saturday morning, according to police. At about 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 2, police responded to a Dix Street address on the report of an aggravated assault, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that Patricia Knotts was involved in a verbal dispute with her 55-year-old neighbor that escalated into a physical confrontation. Knotts struck the victim in the head with a bottle of steak sauce, according to Smith.
The victim, who was bleeding profusely, was treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Rescue and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment, Smith said.

Knotts, 56, of Dix Street, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault. She was detained on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on Feb. 19.
