Workers Sue Hamden Restaurant Over Lost Wages: Report

The former employees have filed a lawsuit claiming that they were paid as little as just over $3 an hour.

HAMDEN, CT — Several former employees of the Hamden Town House Restaurant have filed a lawsuit over lost wages, claiming that they were paid as little as just over $3 an hour while working 52 to 72 hours per week, according to WTNH News 8.

WTNH reports the former employees staged a protest and press conference outside of the restaurant, located on Whitney Avenue, on Thursday. (To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

The current owner of the Hamden Town House told WTNH News 8 that the claims are false and he will fight them in court, adding that some of the accusations were from before his ownership.
