With the leadership of the Commercial Real Estate and Building Industry in greater Hartford, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut raised more than $570,000 from 110 sponsors and 540 event attendees at the 4th Annual Building Foundations Breakfast. These funds will close housing gaps by preventing families from slipping into homelessness and create opportunities for people currently living in shelters to secure stable housing. During the event, the late Martin J. Kenny of Lexington Partners was honored with the 2024 Jeffrey Digel Award – an award created and given by the Commercial Real Estate and Building Industry – in recognition of his deep-rooted philanthropy and professional leadership.
