MURDER MYSTERY FANS GET READY
HARTFORD COUNTY, CT - Get your drama hats on because the award-winning Connecticut company, AspenDream Productions announced today that it is official - they are casting for their new exciting murder mystery shows, “I Haven’t Got a Clue”© and Murder at the Mardi Gras© and Holidays Can Kill You©. Auditions Dates for all three (3) shows are on: Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2:00PM to 3:30PM by appointment only. Applicants may also submit on-line monologues to http://adpdinnertheater@gmail.com. Experienced artists and Show managers only please.
Mystery fans, get ready for an all-new “Clue-like” show coming this fall! “I Haven’t Got a Clue”. The show is loosely adapted on the well-known 1985 black comedy mystery film, “Clue”. It was written and conceived during the height of COVID by the Artistic Director, Janice Luise and her crew to be COVID safe.

Additionally, AspenDream is well-known to give back to the community and will be offering these shows “at cost” for a limited time to the public. “Our goal, said Luise, is to help businesses get back on their feet, support struggling actors, and get patrons back in the theater. Please support us.”
Only a few key roles are needed at the moment and they must be prime players. The pay is great and they also receive dinner. BUT, we do not tolerate "drama" off the stage.

Next is the exciting "Murder at the Mardi Gras". Franco attends this fun celebration but something eerie happens. The doors lock and we are told no one can go home until the murder is solved. Why is it when Franco is around, there are always problems??
Auditions are by appointment only. Email: ADPDinnerTheater@gmail.com. All roles are PAID. Bring a head shot and resume. Be prepared to read from the script. Can’t make it – apply on- line by submitting a one to two minute monologue. Reading selections will be provided at the audition. Seeking submissions from non-union Actors/Performers in the CT area. This is family fun at it's finest. It caters to adults and children. FBI may appear as the Grinch and Santa Claus. Songs from all denominations are sung. Many holiday parties get together and come to this show. We have a Mob Induction Ceremony (Sorry Father) , a murder occurs, and a musical scavenger hunt happens where prizes are handed out for the good (and a little bad). It is one or our more popular shows.
GENERAL INFORMATION ON OUR DINNER SHOWS:
Our themes rotate, New Year’s Eve masquerade balls, Halloween Murder Mysteries, a comedy wedding, and more! These are thoughtfully scripted and fast paced, so actors with experience are needed.
SHOWS: Public shows generally occur on Fridays or Saturdays. Performances are on-going throughout the year throughout CT.
Roles and pay are very competitive.
OTHER: ADP is committed to diversity and promotes a positive model of inclusion. We encourage performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to submit. Must be 21+, have reliable transportation, and be available for rehearsals, previews and shows assigned to. Must have experience. LOCAL PERFORMERS ONLY - CT (ADP does not provide housing or travel).
KEY DETAILS: When/If you are at the auditions but are not auditioning, you will be required to wear a face mask that covers your mouth and nose and maintain social distancing. You can remove the mask when you are auditioning. All actors/crew will maintain social distancing and sanitation protocols during rehearsals and performances.
DURATION: This show will be on-going for approximately one (1) year at multiple venues throughout CT. Additional (unpaid) premiers will be shown in various locations.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submit your name/ profile/ and the role(s) you want to audition for and the time/date you prefer. We will get back to you and coordinate your audition. Actors that make appointments will read from the script. Can’t make the audition? See next section.
ONLINE SUBMISSIONS: Follow instructions above and submit a one (1) to two (2) minute comedy monologue stating the role(s) you are interested in.

Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022 from 2-3:30pm, along with a Show Manager. The Show Manager must be able to run the entire show in the Executive Director's absence. Management experience required. These are paid positions. (Non-Union)
