Bear Breaks Into Bloomfield Home: Report
Black bear one of many sightings and encounters in the state this spring.
BLOOMFIELD, CT — Another day, another report of a bear invading the territory of humans ... this time in Bloomfield.
According to WVIT Channel 30, a bear was euthanized in Bloomfield after it had broken into a home in town Wednesday evening.
Reportedly, the bear got inside and then left on its own, but it was close enough to be discovered by state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection police, WVIT reports.

Many sightings have been in nearby Avon, which saw two such creatures invade the town's annual Memorial Day parade on Monday.
