Crash Cleared In East Hartford: Update

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle crash caused a traffic mess on Interstate 84 in East Hartford, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on Interstate 84 west between exits 58 and 57.

As a result of the crash, the left lane of the highway was closed, according to the DOT.

The accident was first reported at 11:35 a.m. and it is now cleared, no longer being listed on the DOT's incident report.
