Update: Crash Cleared In East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was snarled a bit on Interstate 84 west in East Hartford Friday morning after a one-vehicle accident, but it was quickly cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident happened between exits 57 and 56, resulting in the left lane being closed.

The crash was reported at 9:23 a.m. and it was reported "cleared" by 9:40 a.m., according to the DOT.
