Fatal Motorcycle Crash Investigated In Hartford

A street will be closed for several hours while police investigate.

HARTFORD, CT — A motorcyclist was killed in a Wednesday collision on Franklin Avenue in Hartford, according to police.

The motorcycle operator suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police are working to identify the operator and notify his next of kin.

The other involved vehicle remained at the scene. Detectives are investigating. Franklin Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Shultas Place will be closed in both directions into the late evening hours.
