HARTFORD, CT — City police are reminding residents this morning the department's animal control office is there to help if a dog is missing or one is found.

The Hartford Police Department posted a photo on social media Thursday morning showing "Officer Clifford" and a "new friend" getting to know each other, with Clifford offering a treat to the roaming creature.
