Hartford Coronavirus Update: Bushnell Furloughs Workers
Another Hartford business announced it will reduce its workforce temporarily.

HARTFORD, CT — The Bushnell theater will furlough 32 workers, according to a document filed with the state. The theater at 166 Capitol Ave. anticipates that these furloughs will last less than six months.
Workers were expected to be notified Sunday.
"The Bushnell is conducting these furloughs because the COVID-19 pandemic, along with Gov. Ned Lamont's March 16, 2020, executive order maintaining the closure of non-essential businesses across Connecticut, has several affected the Bushnell's operations," the document reads. "The Bushnell could not have anticipated the need to conduct these furloughs prior to the Governor's executive order, but is providing as much notice as practicable under the circumstances."
