Hartford Man Enjoys $10K Scratch-off Payout

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man's trip to a Waterbury store Tuesday proved quite lucrative, as a lottery game purchased there garnered him a $10,000 prize.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Hartford resident Roberto Carrasco won that amount playing the $100,000 Cashword 11 scratch-off game.

While the top prize for that game is $100,000, the $10,000 payout was still profitable as the price to play is $10.

Carrasco purchased the ticket at the Mohican Mini Mart in Waterbury.
