Hartford Man Wins $20K At West Hartford Store

HARTFORD/WEST HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man's stop in a West Hartford gas station/car wash might not have resulted in millions, but his winning ticket still was quite profitable.

That's because Anthony Austin of Hartford played the Mega Millions draw game on July 15 and he won $20,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.

State officials said Austin purchased the ticket at Troy's Mobil Mart Car Wash in West Hartford, picking enough numbers for the hefty payout.
