Man Killed, 2 Injured In Hartford Wreck

A man was killed after his car struck a pole in Hartford on Thursday night.

HARTFORD, CT — A man was killed after crashing into a pole Thursday night, FOX 61 reported. The crash occurred at 10:25 p.m. at the intersection of Sigourney Street and Farmington Avenue.

Police arrived to find a BMW X5 in the intersection and an Acura TL that had crashed into a pole. The Acura's driver, Larry Lugo, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the BMW were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to FOX 61.
