Lane On I-84 In East Hartford Reopens After Being Closed: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A section of Interstate 84 in East Hartford was closed for much of the day Thursday due to road work, but it is now reopened.

According to the State Department of Transportation, the I-84 West HOV lane — or the "diamond" lane — was closed beyond the Buckland Street entry because road crews were on the scene.

That closure was expected to be in place until 3:30 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident list.
