Report: Man Shot Multiple Times In Hartford

Police have reportedly swarmed an area on Franklin Avenue to probe the shooting of a man believed to be in his 40s Friday morning.

HARTFORD, CT — A man believed to be in his 40s may have been shot multiple times this morning in Hartford, according to multiple news reports.

According to the Newsbell Twitter feed, Hartford police are investigating a shooting that happened at about 6 a.m. Friday morning.

The incident is believed to have happened on Franklin Avenue and involved a man who was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was, reportedly, in surgery, according to Newsbell.

It is believed the Hartford Police Department's Major Crime unit is investigating.
