Robbery Victim Shot: East Hartford PD

EAST HARTFORD, CT — An East Hartford robbery victim was shot after his phone was stolen during a Monday night robbery, according to police.

The victim was on Columbus Circle when he was approached by the robber who demanded his phone, according to the Hartford Courant. He told police he was shot when he handed over the phone and ran away.
