Update: Accident On I-84 In Hartford Cleared

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Hartford caused some rush-hour traffic nightmares Thursday morning, but it was quickly cleared up.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident was on the eastbound side of I-84 between exits 44 and 46.

DOT officials said this crash, which was first reported at 7:36 a.m., briefly caused lane closures.

By 7:48 a.m., however, DOT authorities said the accident, which was about a half mile before Exit 46 at West Boulevard, was cleaned up.
