Suspect Charged In East Hartford Double-Shooting: Police
The incident injured two men on Jan. 11.
EAST HARTFORD, CT — Local police Thursday announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a double-shooting in East Hartford back on Jan. 11.
The East Hartford Police Department said the suspect's name is Terrance Brown, who police said was involved in a shooting incident that took place at 200 Nutmeg Lane.
The EHPD said, on Wednesday, Feb. 7, Brown was located in Hamden in possession of a stolen firearm and extended capacity magazine, after officers from the New Haven and Hamden police departments identified his vehicle.

Brown is facing several charges related to the shooting incident in East Hartford.
Those, according to police, include attempted murder; first-degree assault; criminal possession of a firearm; and reckless endangerment.

Police said Brown is currently in New Haven and is awaiting arraignment for charges related to his capture and is being held o $1 million bond.
"The East Hartford Police Department would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the Hamden and New Haven police departments for their diligent efforts in locating and apprehending Brown," wrote the EHPD Thursday. "Their swift action and teamwork have led to the capture of an armed and dangerous suspect."
