Update: Three-vehicle Crash On I-84 Cleared In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle accident had caused havoc on Interstate 84, resulting in one lane closure and some traffic headaches, but it has since been cleared

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-84 east between exits 50 and 51, causing a 1.6-mile backup in the process.

As a result, the right lane is closed due to the wreck, which was reported at 1:43 p.m., state officials said.

DOT officials via Twitter reported the accident had been cleared as of 2:36 p.m. Thursday.
