Two-Vehicle Wreck Snarls Hartford Traffic

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 91 in Hartford has caused a mile-long traffic backup, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the crash happening on I-91 south between exits 34 and 33.

As a result, the DOT said the right shoulder is closed.

The crash was first reported at 4:11 p.m. and it is "unknown" when it will be cleared.
