United Way Women United Raises More Than $420K at POP

Proceeds go to United Way-supported programs

United Way Women United raised more than $420,000 at its 8th Annual Power of the Purse Luncheon and Silent Auction. Proceeds go to United Way-supported programs that allow families to learn financial skills and qualify for good-paying jobs with opportunities for advancement. Since 2011, United Way Women United has raised nearly $1.5 million to provide financial services for women and families in Greater Hartford.
