Update: East Hartford Tractor Trailer Crash Cleared

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle wreck involving a tractor trailer had caused major traffic headaches for motorists Tuesday morning on Interstate 84, but it has since been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash involved one tractor trailer colliding with another vehicle on the eastbound side of the highway between exits 58 and 59.

As a result, the three center lanes were closed on what is a busy portion of the interstate leading into the greater Hartford area.

The crash was reported at 6:34 a.m. and it was reported cleared at 7:51 a.m., according to the DOT's Twitter feed.
