• Fire Reported At Beloved Local Business In Clinton, Fire Officials Say (patch.com) — Killingworth Volunteer Fire Company was among several departments called to help battle a Saturday morning fire at Beach Donut in nearby Clinton, which displaced residents and temporarily closed the beloved shop. No injuries were reported, and officials say the blaze was quickly brought under control while the cause remains under investigation.
