• Request for Proposals for Street Sweeping Services (townofkillingworth.com) — Killingworth is seeking bids for a three-year street sweeping contract, with documents available starting August 14 and proposals due at Town Hall by 4 p.m. on September 14. Contractors can obtain bid packages online or from the Selectmen’s Office, and minority-owned businesses are especially encouraged to participate.
   

• Connecticut's ALPR debate grows as towns end contracts and others consider expand use (nbcconnecticut.com) — Killingworth officials have ended the town’s contract with Flock Safety and removed all four license plate reader cameras, citing low usefulness and privacy concerns. Their move comes as other Connecticut towns either drop or expand ALPR technology under new statewide data guardrails taking effect October 1.
