The purpose of this workshop is to increase the sense of belonging and build community connections among older adults, primarily ages 60 – 75 years. The workshop will utilize group discussion, creative activities, and will incorporate curriculum about ways to increase connectivity and reduce social isolation. Open discussion will focus on topics such as past accomplishments and future goals.
Participants of this workshop will be asked to share information about themselves and engage in open discussion. Confidentiality among participants is of the utmost importance. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be invited to share their contact information with one another to remain in touch, only if they feel comfortable doing so. Sharing contact information is NOT required to participate.
