• Fire Damages Residence At Outback Stables Property In Ledyard: FD (patch.com) — Ledyard firefighters quickly contained a kitchen fire that damaged a home at the Outback Stables property on Colonel Ledyard Highway, leaving the residence uninhabitable but sparing the nearby barn and horses. No people or animals were hurt, and the American Red Cross is now helping displaced residents with immediate needs and longer-term recovery planning while the fire marshal investigates the cause.
