• Mitchell Hall of Famer Josh Ford hired as New London girls basketball coach (ncadvertiser.com) — A former Ledyard boys basketball assistant, Josh Ford has been hired to lead the New London High School girls basketball program for the 2026–27 season. Ford, a Mitchell College Hall of Famer and New London teacher, says he's excited about the team's potential and wants to restore the program's recent tradition of deep state tournament runs.
