Madison Affordable Housing Complex To Be Completed This Year: Report

MADISON, CT — A new housing complex in Madison is set to be completed by the end of the year, bringing a couple of dozen affordable units to the town.

The $10.7 million Wellington at Madison complex broke ground in November, near Hammonasset State Park, the Shoreline Times reported.

A total of 31 units will be built at the site, four of which are already completed. Of those 31 units, 24 will be deemed affordable, while the remaining seven will be rented at fair market value.

Boston-based The Caleb Group is developing the project in collaboration with the non-profit HOPE Partnership.

The one- and two-bedroom units will reportedly vary in size between 600 and 1,207 square feet.
