Public Hearing On Madison's Proposed 2024-25 Budget Set For Thursday

The Madison Board of Finance is recommending a combined Town and School Budget of $97,619,256 for the next fiscal year.

MADISON, CT — The Madison Board of Finance will hold a public hearing on Thursday on its recommended budget for 2024-25 of $97,619,256, an amount that will cover operations for the both the town and school system.

Details of the budget, which shaved some money from the Board of Selectmen's recommended budget, can be viewed here.

Thursday's hearing will allow taxpayers an opportunity to comment on the recommendation, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons wrote in her latest Community Update.
