2 Facing Manslaughter Charges In Manchester Overdose Case
Two men have been arrested in connection with a Manchester overdose.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police have arrested two men on manslaughter charges in connection with a summertime fatal fentanyl/heroin overdose, including the victim's brother.
The arrests took place Monday. The case dates back to August, when Police received a report about an unresponsive man at a multi-family home on Wetherell Street.
The man, identified as 35-year-old Manchester resident Dustin Deschenes, was pronounced dead at the scene, a report indicates. Investigators determined fentanyl and/or heroin were involved, according to a report.

Investigators also determined that his brother, 33-year-old Dylan Deschenes, also of Manchester, acquired the drugs from Kahari Belcher, 25 of Hartford, a report indicates.
Belcher and Dylan Deschenes were charged with second-degree manslaughter, narcotics possession with intent to distribute, second-degree reckless endangerment.

The men are scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.
