• Respected Police Sergeant — 'A Leader Officers Could Count On' — Retires In Manchester (patch.com) — Manchester residents are saying goodbye to Sgt. Jim Bairos, who retired this week after 26 years with the local police department, including 18 years as a trusted supervisor. Colleagues and community members praised his calm leadership, fair treatment, and numerous commendations, highlighting his lasting impact on officers he trained and the people he served in town.
   

• Manchester Police SROs Ready For Students' Return To School (patch.com) — As Manchester students head back to school, local police school resource officers are gearing up to support a safe start to the year across all campuses. The department is also urging town drivers and families to slow down, watch for children, and follow school-zone rules as traffic increases around Manchester schools.
