“’Great Joy’ was grand and glorious, I suppose. This is a little more intimate, but no less moving,” Nielsen said. “The musical hasn’t been presented in the church sanctuary since 1991.”
The program will include new Christmas music by such disparate artists as Pentatonix, The Piano Guys, Jason Mraz, Sarah Groves, Natalie Grant, Sidewalk Prophets, and even the TV cast of “Glee” and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Trinity singers will be joined by a mass community choir of 80 voices and orchestra with members of the Manchester Symphony Orchestra.
The choir has just returned from Carnegie Hall, after participating in a Christmas concert there with about 400 other singers. The Trinity group was invited to participate after Nashville producer Phil Barfoot heard last year‘s musical at RHAM in Hebron. “Christmas at Trinity 2015” will include selections from the Carnegie concert.
Despite a different location and format, the annual event is a local holiday tradition attracting capacity audiences to all performances. The audience will participate in a traditional carol sing.
Early arrival is recommended as seating is limited. For information and/or complimentary tickets, call the church office at (860)649-2855 or visit http://www.trinitycovenantchurch.org/life-together/worship/vocal-music/christmas-musical
